Nashville Day 2 - Opry and Downtown

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=21bfLY0eHC4

Day 2 of Nashville was one of my favorite days for sure!

First, we go checked in to our hotel, the Gaylord Opryland. Our rooms were not available so we had a ballroom that we stored them in. In the video toward the begging, where we are all just walking around, is when we got lost trying to find that ballroom!
This is just one small portion of the hotel!

Next, we took a backstage tour of the famous Grand Ole Opry House. It is dedicated to honoring country music and its history. the opry showcases a mix of legends and chart-toppers! It attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors from around the world and millions of radio/internet listeners. the Opry is "the show that made country music famous" and has been called the "home of american music" and "country's most famous stage". It is also here at the grand ole opry house where they have filmed several TV shows such as Hee Haw!!

Finally, we spent the rest of our day touring and walking around downtown Nashville! There were at the very least 5 bars on every block blasting live country music that were being preformed from future country music stars. When they say its music city, they aren't joking. From cowboy boot and hats stores, to rusty looking shops and food places. We walked down music city row which is where most of the famous stars record their music such as hunter hays, dolly parton, and even Elvis Presley himself. In the video is a picture of a sign, read it to see all the great people who recorded there (its also below) ! (:

Elvis on every street corner

HERE IS THE SIGN(:

Absolutely in love with this picture and this building. It is an old train station and a HOTEL. If I could have one building describe the type of architecture i love, then this would definitely be it. I don't know about you, but this reminded me of something that would be in London, or Paris.

Oh, and after all of this, we attend the first Idaho State Meeting at FCCLA NLC. Since I am the states State Secretary, I was able to speck at the meeting and help with the games.!

Ps: there is a meaning behind the Taylor Swift song 22 and why I put it in there. The other state officers and I could not stop singing this song. It pretty much was our national leader hip conference theme song!

Keep and eye out for day 3-7.
3 of the days will be combined(:
oh and it takes forever and a day to edit the videos so it won't be up right away<3
